Meet the team
Adan Ibarra
Founder
Adan is a co-founder and head of business consulting services for Methodical Platforms. He is a partner in several companies including AKA Partners LLC, Michele Beck CPA PC, and Keen Coverage LLC. His responsibilities vary amongst these firms and include titles such as President, CFO, and head of Capital Markets.
Adan has over 20 years’ experience in finance that ranges from credit analyst, debt placements, mergers & acquisitions, & renewable energy. His experience in renewable energy consists of being involved in over 30 development projects across multiple states such as CA, AZ, NM & PA. AKA Partners is a real estate investment firm and has over $50 million in operating assets across 3 states and another $50+ million in assets that are in various stages of development.
Mr. Ibarra attended the University of North Texas. He is a CFA Level II candidate and has completed his CPA designation. He is also pursuing the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credentials under the AICPA. Additionally, he completed a master’s degree in Advanced Data Analytics in 2021.
Ewa Musial, Ph.D.
Founder
Ewa is an experienced hands-on software architect with a record of successful deliveries of over 100 software solutions. She has been employed in software development for over 14 years and has taken on numerous different roles in her career in the technology field. She and her team were involved in a project that generated over $2M in new revenue streams for the corporation. She is a technology leader who designs robust, high quality software systems, helps drive mission-critical technology initiatives, and leads projects from an idea phase to production-ready solutions. Ewa also has a research background that allows her to conduct scientific projects. One such project reduced run times by 80% and increased effectiveness by 40% in comparison with other existing algorithms. Currently, she is focusing on leading the technological and scientific vision for Methodological Platforms, LLC. Ewa first became interested in science and technology while pursuing a B.S. in mathematics. Her interest caused her to earn M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the State University of New York at Albany.
Angie Posso
Database Architect
With over 13 years of database experience, in both small and large company settings, Angie is in a unique position to lead the database architecture effort. Throughout her career Angie has successfully maintained, administered, and designed databases of various sizes and complexities. Most recently working on a solution fully hosted by Amazon Web Services and utilizing many of the AWS offerings. Her passion is making sure data model meets and exceeds scalability, security, performance, and reliability requirements. She holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Montclair State University and continuously advances her knowledge by attending AWS conferences.
Joanna Merritt, Ph.D.
Data Scientist
Joanna has over 12 years’ experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, and business intelligence. She leads analytics teams and provides institutional research and advisory services that are focused on using analytics to solve complex business problems. She is a data science expert that specializes in data management, data science toolsets and approaches, models’ evaluations, and trend analyses. Dr. Merritt received Master and Doctoral degrees from the University of Albany, SUNY. Additionally, she completed the Graduate Certificate in Institutional Research at Pennsylvania State University.
